The Soma Tent
In collaboration with Buddhafield our Soma Tent offers the opportunity to experience a festival within a festival; diving to the world of Contact Improvisation and Somatics while in the wider field. This summer you will find us at Buddhafield and Green Earth Awakening for joyous dances, expansion of your personal practice and outreach into the wider community. Through this tent we are committed to deepening the dance as well as introducing people to the practice of CI.
Who
The Soma Tent invites a meeting of some of the biggest Contact Improvisation Teachers in the country.

It will host Contact Improvisation and somatic workshops all day long and long jams every night, with live musicians.

Both events take place near Taunton in the Blackdown Hills
What
Both events are centered around Buddhist teachings held by the Buddhafield Sangha. This community offers a joyous perspective to life and practice. These gatherings feature a variety of workshops, performances and experiences to both celebrate and learn life together. Buddhafield gatherings are welcome to people of all beliefs and backgrounds.
